They assumed Dads army elderly fan base would have long been asleep after the beginning so they only made the first part .

Dunno, but if you click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the page, like I told you to, you get the option to download the episode, do so and when it downloads you can watch the entire downloaded episode

Are you suggesting that me and Neil are like Lou and Harold?

    You’ve probably slept with her

Ps if you were a soap character you’d actually be Stacey Slater (although she used the Queen Vic bust rather than a bottle of blue nun)!

I Wouldn't be Stacey Slater, she's an annoying cockney, just like you. What makes you think I'd be like her anyway?

Well I gave them a watch and it was an entertaining experience to see them reconstruct these episodes. The main set was amazing - it looked just like the originals. There were some funny moments, but I didn't laugh much. But then I was never a fan of the original series. As for the cast, I thought the two guys playing Mainwaring and Wilson were particularly impressive at imitating the original actors. The ones playing Frazer, Godfrey and Jones were good, but the two playing Pike and Walker were pretty poor. What did you think of the main cast, Neil?

Exactly the same as you, only the bloke playing Fraser was too wooden faced. I thought overall they did a very good job though and the stories were strong. What did you think of the stories bluey, in terms of entertainment and interest? Also did you think it was a good effort as a rehash, a poor one or about even?

Fans of the show might think differently, but I thought it was a very good effort. Then again maybe they'll appreciate the fact that those three missing episodes now at least exist in some form. The stories themselves I thought were mostly basic (Red Dwarf for example was always great at telling complex stories over half an hour), but I suppose the show was always about the character interactions rather than the story lines.

Lots of the fans of the dad's army appreciation society enjoyed them to, as did I. Thanks for the input. The episodes were, in fact, available in script form, it was just the tv recordings of them that were lost

That guy looks relatively normal compared to the kinds of chavs I often see hanging around in my town.
