never mind if you guys really think Norman and Hattie will both be on, then that's really new
Could you be more millennial? Haha
Thing is though Hattie's holly was a main character in 3-5 and Norman's holly was a main character in VIII. The reason why it may not seem that way is because the stories often struggled to find purpose for them
Now with holly coming back Doug may feel more pressure to include Holly more and my fear is that its gonna seem very unnaturally
I disagree here. Lovett Holly was a supporting character at best in VIII, admittedly without going through VIII and counting it all up to be 100% certain, I'd still be pretty confident he had considerably fewer lines and screen time than Hollister and probably about the same as Kill-Krazy or Ackermann.
He is still considered a main character though.
Although How that would possibly change in these new shows when quite alot of the new episode have a big guest cast who knows. i don't know how Holly would fit into siliconia or timewave for an example. although perhaps holly could stop us from getting episodes like timewave so its not too bad... probably not though.
I don't see how or why, I certainly wouldn't consider him a main character in any meaningful sense. The only possible reason Lovett's Holly could be considered a Main Character in VIII is because he was one, back in the late 1980s, but I can't really see that being enough to automatically qualify him on some sort of Grandfather rights.
He does little or nothing to advance the plots in any episodes and contributes equally little in the way of exposition and it'd be stretching it to fit him into any reasonable definition of the term. You could edit Lovett-Holly's entire contribution out of VIII altogether and it'd make practically no difference to any of the episodes, contrast that to Hollister for example who plays a far more important role as a character and is often used in terms of plot advancement and exposition.
Holly didn't stop us getting the much maligned Pete episodes, so I don't see why shoe-horning him into Timewave would have made much difference.
Aren't Millennials in around their mid-30s?
I consider millennial born within five years of 2000!!!! I am NOT a millennial!!! Gen X actually!!!!! Meh etc
Sorry Ant, but every definition I've found says that "Millennial" refers to those reaching adulthood in the early 2000s, so that's those born between about 1982 to about 1987. Generation X precedes that.
@Ant E the whiny millennial, whining about being called a millennial
Ugh, kids say the funniest things
Coming of Age: 1988-1994
Age in 2004: 28 to 38
Current Population: 41 million
but what does this have to do with Holly apperances
Does @Ant E consider himself to be in his 40s?
Norman Lovett is a babyboomer, I guess.
Don’t be ridiculous
Holly Brown is very much a millennial
Did you mean Hannah Brown?
No. Her mum @Eddiebadassdavis mother in law
