Red Dwarf Turns 30: Interview With Co-Creator Doug Naylor On The 30th Anniversary
I wish someone would ask him whether Rob Grant will ever return... and who won the Smeg Out's competition.
He talks about Rob Grant in the interview - they're still friends and that maybe he could come back one day ...
Interestinhg interview. I'm quite surprised Doug talks about the movie as a possibility. I thought it's already dead idea.
If anything him trying to push the show into stage shows and whatever might all be to show movie investors the series is still hugely popular and relevant.
The BBC really blew it, didn't they?
I wonder if Doug has an idea of how many more series' he wants to do. Either way, XIV by 2020 please!
Sounds like another series and stage show are a certainty... and then after that he is open to another series or a movie maybe.
I didn't know they're still in touch. I'd love to see episode written by Grant Naylor again. Shame they didn't make it for the anniversary.
They just broadcast practically a whole series like that.
Interesting interview. Was happy to see that new TV series was higher then a stage show since stage show is something that I would ever be likely to see. Thanks for sharing the link.
